The comfort zone are those familiar scenarios and actions which come pretty much natural to you. In your comfort zone, you are not afraid and can confidently make decisions. If you want to make long-term gains though, breaking out of it is necessary.

Staying in the comfort zone will result to short-term profits but venturing outside this comfort zone will mean more profits, moving up, adaptability to other circumstances, mastering other kinds of games.

Let us say you do not go for higher stake poker games, then it is but natural that you will not develop the skills and the killer instincts to conquer this game. If you cannot handle the pressure of short handed games, then tournaments will be like jumping off a cliff for you.

If you want to develop your game, you need to get out of your comfort zone. The more often, the better. Getting out of it though involves sacrificing your short-term profits and of course, your comfort.

Do not resist change. It takes getting used to but you will be able to adapt as you see clearly the long term effects of your venturing out of your comfort zone. You will be losing some money along the way but it is all part of the game. You need to remember the big picture and your goal at the end of the line. You have to weigh the psychological sacrifices as well as the financial risks involved.

The cause and the effects of getting out of the comfort zone must be clear so you can rationalize why you want to move out of your comfort zone. The relationship among these factors will be the primary force that is holding you back from improving your game, and going out of your comfort zone.

Vanessa Rousso is a renowned poker player and holds a dual citizenship of France and the US. She is a professional player who has reached excellence by showcasing enough dedication and resilience to remain a top notch poker player.

The good thing about Vanessa Rousso is that just in her first year of playing the game she was able to get many cashes and get herself into major tournaments. She was able to finish seventh in the $25,000 buy in World Poker Tour Championship. She was also able to win $5,000 in the buy in Borgata Open. She is at the moment studying law at the University of Miami and is based out of LA. Vanessa Rousso has seen one success after another and continues to remain on top of the game. She has had 40 cashes so far and her First Place Finishes are at 6. She has a ProRank of 66 position.

Vanessa Rousso is single and has no children. Her major ambition is to become an ace poker player and be able to strike the right kind of balance between her law school career and the game that is her lifeline. Besides, playing poker Vanessa Rousso also likes to go boating, skiing, play chess, travel and run. She loves playing poker with other women and wants more women’s events to be conducted. She wants the women’s events to have a far more greater stacks and be played by skilled players at a slower pace.

Vanessa Rousso loves music and her favorite place to be in is her hotel room with room service at her beck and call and one of her favorite movies be it Eternal sunshine of the Spotless Mind or something similar. She is really enthusiastic and absolutely passionate about the game. This makes her able to give off her very best to the game. She is on the top league amongst the other women poker players and is considered to be not only extremely popular but also considered to be one of the best in the women player’s realm.

The success that Vanessa Rousso has been able to achieve in the game of poker at such a stupendous rate is all attributed to her ability to remain on top of the learning curve. She is observant and a quick learner. The kind of learner who will be able to apply all that has been learned to better the game. She is not only an ace player of poker but a good student as she is amongst the top 5% of her class at the law school at the University of Miami. However, she finally decided to give up law school and concentrate fully to the world of poker as that is where her heart lay. Check out some of Vanessa Rousso’s videos to see her in action!

Erick Lindgren lives in LA in the United States. He was born in the year 1976 at Burney in California. He was always inclined towards sports and growing up with his two brothers in the small town ensured that he went on to participate in all the possible games be they basketball or football.

He always wanted to consider taking up some form of sports as his career. Poker did not come his way until he was in junior college and from that time onwards he has been completely hooked to the game of poker. The nuances of the game he picked up from the players that he was pitted against at the local casino that he played at in the small town. At the same time he devoted enough time to his online poker game and went on to pick up enough strategies and techniques from there as well.

Then in the year 2000, Erick Lindgren went on to participate in live tournaments. In the year 2002 he went on to win the coveted Five Diamond World Poker Classic and got himself a win of $228,192. This kind of sparked his interest further in the potential of poker games and he began traveling all over the globe to attend poker games. Up until now he has been able to get total winnings of $6,779,730 and there is still more to come at the rate at which he has been playing the game of poker.

The one poker player that Erick Lindgren really respects is Daniel Negreanu. The one thing that he hates and wouldn’t want any of is war in this world. He is not married and has no children. The moment he left school Erick Lindgren started playing poker and it has continued to be the major pull and passion in his life.

When he is not playing poker he is ether listening to rap music or watching a movie. His ambition is to win himself the title of the best poker player for the year. The nick name that has stuck to him is E-Dog. He was born in the year 1976 and at this young age has been able to rake in a great amount of fame and fortune for himself all from the game of poker. He has had 25 money finishes so far.

The first time that he won a tournament was in the year 2002 at Bellagio. This was immediately followed by another win in the World Poker Tour and this was just ten months later. Six months later, he went on to win at the WPT Party Poker Million Cruise and this wining spree spurred him on further to go on and participate in more tournaments.

Erick Lindgren has penned a book called the World Poker Tour: Making the Final Table. This is a book that is filled with down to earth strategies that one can go on to apply in their game of poker and win.
